” Aim for the stars and reach the sky”

Aim for the highest that you possibly can and you’ll get three-quarter or even half of what you aimed for. And that’s already more than great:D

Gratitude Journal

One of the ways to be happy is to constantly realize how lucky we are. Most of us forget our blessings and tend to focus on the small and inconsequential irritants in our lives.  Starting a gratitude journal would be a great way of  reminding ourselves about all the blesings in our lives. At the end of everyday, list 5 things that day that you are grateful for and thank God for them. It could be something big like ‘i am grateful that the car did not hit my child’ or something really small and insignificant like ‘ I am grateful for that nice cup of coffee this morning’, as long as its something that made your life better:)

Today, I’m grateful for:

1. meeting the guy I’m interested in and having him ask me out for bowling ( I couldn’t go coz i was working tonight but that’s not the point:)

2. meeting that same guy again when i went back for locum and coincidentally looking quite pretty enough that his eyes shone when he checked me out and he complimented me on how pretty i looked:D

3. that I am slim enough that I can eat ice-cream on an almost daily basis and yet keep my figure (thanks to daily exercise:)

4. that it’s a Friday! Which is my favourite day of the week:) no matter that i have locum tonight and working tomorrow.

5. What are YOU grateful for today?

What are your Dreams?

You have this one life, to do and feel and see all the things you want to do. There is SO MUCH to experience! I always have this thought where I’m old and frail, wheel-chair bound, and I look at my past and realize that I didn’t live. All I did was exist. Scary isn’t it? Coz there’s no going back to do it again. There’s no second chance, so do it right the first time. So here’s a list of  my dreams.

1. Experience as much of the world as possible

2. Write a book

3. Have an immensely popular blog:D

4. Meet the man of my dreams and have a beautiful family

5. To be a great Specialist who can help an uncountable amount of people

6. To know God and to trust in Him

7. To be a thinking doll – beautiful, intelligent, confident, joyful, peaceful – 5X factor

I know 7 is a weird number, but I have 7 dreams, not more, not less.

I looked around the net and I found some good dreams to have.

1. Living in an eco village

2. To help others achieve their goals in life

3. To film my own independent movie

4. To create an educational model that will revolutionize education

5. To find a cure for AIDS

What about your dreams? List them down because once you do, its concrete. It’s a promise to yourself to achieve these dreams. List them down, and print them out. Paste them around the house so that you’re reminded everyday, so that everything that you do is geared towards achieving these dreams. Because, a life without dreams is just an existence.
